What this checker looks at
Midjourney visual habits
Over-smooth skin, painterly lighting, perfect symmetry, glossy eyes and the cinematic colour grading typical of v6 and v7.
Hidden file traces
Generator strings, missing camera data and Discord or web-app download signatures left in the file.
Error level heatmap
Areas whose compression does not match the rest of the picture are boxed, which catches Vary (Region) edits.
Closest-tool match
The AI review compares the image against Midjourney, Flux, GPT Image, Firefly and others and names the best match.

Questions
Often. When the picture's traits clearly match Midjourney the result names it as the closest match. We label it a closest match, not proof, unless a signature is embedded.
