What this checker looks at
Temporal consistency
Generated video drifts between frames. Hair, jewellery, teeth and background text flicker or reshape in ways a real recording never does.
Lip-sync and prosody match
In a face swap the mouth movement and the audio rarely line up exactly, especially on plosives and at the ends of sentences.
Container and encoder metadata
Camera apps write a predictable set of atoms and encoder tags. Generated and re-wrapped clips leave a very different trail.
Multimodal AI review
A multimodal model watches the clip and reports concrete observations: warped hands, impossible physics, background people who change shape.

Questions
Often, yes. Current video generators leave temporal and encoder traces, and the AI review is prompted to attribute the clip to a specific engine when the signature traits match. Attribution is a best match, not a legal proof.
