What this checker looks at
C2PA / JUMBF manifest
We look for an embedded Content Credentials structure and report whether the file carries a provenance claim at all.
Generator declarations
Many tools declare themselves in the file. Firefly, GPT Image and others leave a readable generator string next to the manifest.
Metadata trail
EXIF presence, capture timestamps and editing software traces, so you can see whether the declared story matches the file's own history.
Independent detection
Provenance is only half the answer. The same check runs error level analysis and an AI review, because most files carry no manifest at all.
How to use it

Upload the file, or paste a direct link to it using the Link tab. Images, video, audio, PDFs and text are all accepted.

Read the Provenance card: it tells you whether a Content Credentials manifest is present and who or what signed it.

Compare that against the metadata and forensic cards. A missing manifest is normal; a manifest that contradicts the metadata is a red flag.

For an unbroken record of your own, use a workspace: every file is hashed on receipt and every action is written to an append-only log.
